If you want something even more exaggerated — think XL-on-a-medium frame — go one size up. The cuffs and waistband are sized proportionally so they still fit correctly either way.
Will an oversized hoodie shrink after washing?
Minimal shrinkage - cold wash, hang dry and you'll keep the fit exactly as it left us. Tumble drying on high is the only way to lose meaningful size. If you do tumble dry, use low heat and remove while slightly damp.
